Undisclosed AI interaction
A person interacts with an AI system without being informed they are doing so.
- medium
- transparency
- disclosure
How it happens
A chatbot, synthetic voice agent, or AI-generated content is presented to a user without a clear disclosure that they are interacting with, or viewing the output of, an AI system rather than a person.
Why it matters
Beyond the direct regulatory exposure under the EU AI Act's transparency obligations, undisclosed AI use is one of the fastest ways to lose the trust the rest of the governance programme is trying to build.
